Curiosity

The entrance door of the building and the stairs that allowed the access to the apartment are embellished with numerous wrought iron sculptures of the famous sculptor of Treviso Simon Benetton, dating back to the '50s and characterized by charming elements that recall the tailoring activity present in those years in the same apartment.

 

At a stone's throw

Nearby you can find cafes, restaurants, pizzerias and various shops (traditional supermarket 200 meters, 400 meters biological supermarket. Grocery and local produce stores are very close by). The fruit and vegetable markets (Piazza San Parisio [square]) and the fish market (“Pescheria”, the fish island) are present every morning until 1.00 p.m. (except Sundays for fruit / vegetables, and Sunday and Monday for the fish), both 200 meters far.
The typical street market takes place each morning of Tuesday and Saturday until 1.00 p.m. (in the area between Piazzale Burchiellati and Piazza Matteotti [squares]).

The central Piazza dei Signori is 200 meters far, Ca' dei Carraresi (housing temporary expositions) is located at 100 meters and the Church of St. Catherine (Museum and exposition center) to 200 meters from the apartment. At 50 meters there is the Loggia dei Cavalieri.
